This program is the dream program of our chairman and hon secretary of the organization. It was begins with 10 student only during the time of establishment. Presently we have 200+ student with HI are studying happily. Here, in this program we have sufficient infrastructure to all respective classes and using total communication for the benefit of deaf students to get clarify form the teaching of various concepts. Use of technology and science labs would provide a very enriching learning environment. Early identification of hearing impairment, appropriate hearing aid programming audio-verbal therapy and continuous monitoring of student’s speech – language development to support education using audiology equipment and environment would bring innovations to teaching and learning.
To improve learning outcomes of speech/language development by ‘auditory augmenting methods’ including – hearing status assessment at the earliest: repeated audiograms and hearing monitoring: testing of ‘Aided Hearing’ on regular basis to facilitate ‘Listening training’ – using better hearing aids: ‘hearing aid programming – to meet individual student residual hearing and augment ‘auditory-verbal therapy’ to all student.
To indentify hearing challenges in children at the community Level – camps/open days –‘Early identification and intervention’ with the existing school facilities/referrals – ‘community Level program’.
To enhance scholastic performance of all children enrolled in program in Language Learning (for education and functional English for vocational/ job readiness) and educational curriculum of science, mathematics and technology using ‘smart classroom’ /Audio visual equipment, Mini science Lab.
Capacity building of teachers though training and holding to use science Lab equipment, AVT technologies (of SMART classroom ) and creating a sustainable educational and learning environment for overall student development. This training will be undertaken by the school.
