Ek Prayas

Biswa Gouri Charitable Trust & IDFC First Bank initiated a program Ek prayas outreach from the year 2020-2021 focusing on the capacity building program of trainers to run effective learning using structured teaching framework. Shri B D Tatti (a) Memorial charitable trust is one of the partner who enrolled in this program working in the area of disability by providing a capacity building program to empower the staff and organization  to run structured primary intervention units for children up to 10 years with Autism and Intellectual disability  in 3 centers that is Gadag, laxmeshwar and Ron at Gadag district.

IMPACT OF THE PROGRAME

• Community rehabilitation centre was extended up to RON Taluka.
• At the district level concerned government officials and local leaders were able to create awareness of the organization’s program at a higher level.
• Complete centre-based rehabilitation activities are being carried out in 3 centers.
• There have been positive changes in the guardianship of children in community rehabilitation centers.
• 55 local PHC, private institutions and government authorized awareness have been made.
• 75 children with Intellectual Disability, Autism has been enrolled
