Hearing-Impaired Children’s Residence

This program is the dream program of our Chairman and Hon.  Secretary of the organization.  It was begins with 10 students only during the time of establishment. Presently we have 165 students with HI are studying happily. Here, in this program we have sufficient infrastructure to all respective classes and  using total communication for the benefit of deaf students to get clarify from the teaching of various  concepts. Use of technology and science labs would provide a very enriching learning environment.   Early identification of hearing impairment, appropriate hearing aid programming, audio-verbal therapy and continuous monitoring of student’s speech—language development to support education using audiology equipment and environment would bring innovations to teaching and learning.

Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR):

• The CBR program is a key initiative supported by the Association of People with Disabilities (APD), Bangalore.
• It focuses on the early identification of disabilities, especially in newborns, and provides inclusive education to children with disabilities.
• A notable aspect of this program is its focus on outreach to remote areas, enabling those who may not have access to traditional resources to receive support.
• This program is funded by Sir Dorabji Tata Education Trust (Bombay) and receives technical support from APD, Bangalore.

Early Intervention and Early Education:

• This program targets children aged 0-8 years who show signs of delayed development.
• With the help of the Tata Trust, Azim Premji Foundation And Desphande Foundation, the Trust is expanding its services in Gadag District, where children receive early identification and intervention services in their communities.
• Through screening, children who show developmental delays are assessed, and appropriate therapies and educational services are provided.
• This program helps children with delayed development by intervening early and supporting their educational and therapeutic needs.
